New Hampshire Boundary Survey, 1917.

Field notebooks of Robert Fletcher and Charles Holden for the boundary survey prepared in 1917 to determine the boundary between New Hampshire and Vermont. Includes additional survey work done by Holden in 1927. Also includes a series of photographs of many of the towns and most of the key features of the Connecticut River valley from Brattleboro to Colebrook. These photographs are carefully annotated with a complete list in Fletcher's hand. Also included are a small number of bills and receipts, photographic negatives, and lantern slides relating to the survey.
